SA’s mute and deaf man wins lottery jackpot

A south African man, reportedly deaf and mute, has won a 91 million Rands (about US$ 9 million) roll-over Lottery at the weekend, making him the biggest ever earner from the national lottery operator.

The 52 years old man, who has a wife with the same disability challenges, is from a small town of Wynberg, in the Western Cape Province, in South Africa.

According to reports, he has already been taken to a secure place by the lottery organisers for counselling and other related procedures.

The lottery amount had reached the multi-million status since rolling over from November last year.
