Advocates for Deaf Education (ADE) recently awarded 13 grants totaling over $20,000 to qualifying hearing impaired children in need of financial assistance during its September review. Since its inception in 2003, ADE has awarded more than $140,000 in grants and assisted more than 1400 hearing impaired children in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Financial awards are granted twice per year, March and September, to support the following: 1) educational scholarships to families and/or individuals to defray the cost of private deaf education tuition, 2) educational programs and services that promote learning for hearing impaired children, and 3) the purchase of assistive technical devices, such as digital hearing aids, FM systems and cochlear implants.

ADE holds two fundraising events each year; our Fall Campaign and our Spring Charity Golf Event and Silent Auction. To learn more about applying for financial awards or to donate to our organization, please visit our website at www.ade-ohvalley.org.
