Two Different Types Of Domestic Violence Restraining Orders

The first type happens after a person, particularly a woman, gets physically or emotionally battered by another person and they are very deserving of the protection offered by the restraining order.

The second type happens when a person, especially a woman, gets dumped by another person like a husband or lover or boyfriend, uses the restraining order to exact revenge. That's part of the fury of a woman being scorned. This is very common in divorce cases and people who uses restraining orders in this particular fashion should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Other uses in this fashion involves character assassination, scourge, intimidation, bullying, and anti-competitive actions.

I'm pretty much the victim of the second type.
