Celebrated Deaf Combat Vlogger Jerry Knott AKA YellowTeethHorse Passed Away Last Night

Jerry was a great combat vlogger. Had the guts that are rarely seen in the deaf social network. He'd pick on a small subclass of vloggers. I'm not a member of that particular subclass and I'm proud of his vlogs because they picked on those vloggers who picked on the good side of the deaf community. Even though he has weird ways of delivering those punches, he punched those exactly who deserved to be punched. So sad to see him depart at a young age. He died with the sword on his side and will be looked up to as a knight.

The White House Petition Regarding American Sign Language Could Carry Phyrric Consequences

In the past three and a half weeks, a petition based at the White House website has been circulating madly in the deaf community.

"WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:

Officially recognize American Sign Language as a community language and a language of instruction in schools."

Now with just 4 days remaining, the petition is rapidly closing in on it's goal of 25,000 signatures to elicit an official response from the White House. As of the time this blog post is written, it's just a little shy of 2000 signatures needed and is predicted to be making its goal by Monday or maybe sooner.

This petition has been the latest rallying cry to mobilize the deaf community. Social networks have been heavily used to call attention to this petition. Kudos to all those involved in getting the petition signatures.

Once the goal is met, there will be plenty of victorious blogging and video blogging to be seen in the weeks ahead. The capital "D" deaf community need a little victory to drown out the major setbacks they faced in the past two years. Let's give them that little cheer!

Now let's wait for the official White House response to the petition. And that's where the phyrric elements would surface.

The communication methodology issue has always been a source of despair, a source of violent animosities between groups of people with different degrees of hearing loss. It has been a very tacky issue especially when it comes to the education of deaf children. That is because the civilization is advancing and medical technology that deals with hearing loss is also advancing with the civilization. This brings up the question of what is the best communication method for deaf children who have access to the new medical technology?

The question has been the subject of intense debates between groups of people with varying degrees of hearing loss, audiologists, and the technology. And this petition seeks to pull the White House into this foray.

This petition seeks to get the stamp of approval for American Sign Language from the White House. This is an area that requires soul searching from the highest authorities in the White House and the response could either go directly in their favor, against, or most likely it will be handed down like a mysterious cloud floating over the deaf community that would be interpreted in many different ways.

The deaf community needs to wait for the White House response before they pop their champagne bottles else they will come with a phyrric aftertaste.

What Is Facebook's "DEAF GROUP OF SCAM ALERT" Group All About?

I received several email messages regarding a Facebook group called "DEAF GROUP OF SCAM ALERT" found at http://www.facebook.com/groups/130545917066083/ and I would like additional feedback or comments regarding that group. Send that to my email at tagboard7(at)juno.com

I've been able to sack several scam groups in my history. I Helped take down several pyramid schemes that involved the deaf community that includes Future Strategies, VIP-CLUB, Pentagono, PPBG, and one of my proudest trophies on my wall is the head of Robert (RJ) Johnson for which I got the U.S. Treasury agents at his tail on the afternoon of September 6, 2003. RJ himself was the kingpin of dozens of scams that targeted the deaf community on the West Coast.

Now several scams are targeting deaf people and I have been watching them as a disguised sleeper.

Deaf Activist Richard Roehm Condemns All Who Condemns C. Handler

If they are going to be blowing a sour hoot over something intended to be humorous, then theyre doing it at the expense of your future deaf babies. Present and future parents of deaf newborns will see this and not let their kids live their lives in the "closed deaf society".

I still sit in the patient advocacy council at a hospital that performs cochlear implants. The deaf militants absolutely have no idea what goes on in the parent's decision making process. They know nothing of what the decision making equation looks like and where they get the contents that goes into it.

Also they are the types that will look away from deaf people and organizations that blow sour hoots over something humorous and tiny. It'll be a major turnoff to them and will have a lot of weight in their decision to get their deaf newborns implanted.

So it's safe for me to condemning people and organizations that are condemning C. Handler for the humorous stunt.

Batteries

Protests Could Hamper Gallaudet University's Re-accreditation With MSCHE

The recent protesting over the McCaskill issue could raise a red flag with Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

Gallaudet University is quickly approaching to the re-accreditation deadline with MSCHE. And MSCHE could use this as a bargaining chip to impose major changes on the campus life.

Gallaudet University's leadership can not afford any more missteps like this as University President Hurwitz recently stumbled upon a minor issue that turned out to be a landmine of sorts.

Gallaudet University's leadership needs to stop kowtowing to the fringes and extremists entrenched within the campus and think what's best for the campus as a whole if it wants to see itself existing beyond the horizons.

Else, Gallaudet University will see it's sunset.

The Death Of A Hearing Impaired Bully Website A Big Blessing In Disguise

With news of the demise of a well patronized hearing impaired website that has gone from being social pillar to a bully platform, it's time to bring up its contributions.

The aggregator website forever changed the deaf social network. It also sprang up several new short lived deaf social websites. The social network system it's replaced will never come back to reclaim the space that was taken from it.

The biggest credit for that website is that it helped me win my divorce case by repeating and spreading the lies of huge magnitudes from my ex-wife. That's the thing that really sacked her in the courtroom. The website is credited for helping me win the 4 year long divorce battle. Kudos to that website for handling the "stupid" for me as I am very fortunate that I didn't have to stoop down to her levels to do anything stupid to try win the divorce.

Then it went on to support many different levels of cyberbullying and went on to hurt a lot of good people until it claimed the life of a vlogger.

Then it qickly took a nosedive to its demise.

A lesson learned is that when a website becomes a bully stage, it's days become numbered.

Although I like these new Phonak-Cros aids, I am somewhat disappointed. Keep in mind, there are few brand options when purchasing a bi-cross hearing-aid. So, what’s wrong? Of the 2 aids, there is only volume control on one. All of my past bi-cross aids had volume control on both aids.

Dr. MJ Bienvenu Needs To Resign From Gallaudet For Instigating Bully Campaign Against Dr. Angela McCaskill

She needs out ASAP. She started all this with her misinterpretation of Angela's action. The deaf community can not afford any more misinterpretations that turn into oppressive actions against deaf leaders like what transpired recently.

McCaskill was suspended after signing petition on same-sex marriage law

And in another news website;

She identified the faculty member as Martina Bienvenu and said that Bienvenu and her partner, Kendra Smith, acted as “extremists” by advocating for the university to unfairly discipline her for signing a petition McCaskill said she had a constitutional right to sign.

New development, it's time to be pressing charges against Martina Bienvenu and her partner, Kendra Smith:

"1. D.C. law provides that it is a crime for any person to “by threat[] or intimidation, interfere[] with, or attempts to interfere with, the right of any qualified registered elector to sign or not to sign any initiative, referendum, or recall petition, or to vote for or against, or to abstain from voting on any initiative, referendum, or recall measure."

Angela McCaskill signed the petition on a Sunday at church. Not while on duty on Gallaudet campus.

When confronted by the faculty member, Dr. McCaskill confirmed that she had in fact signed the petition and explained that she had done so while at church, after her preacher had preached against gay marriage. As she was leaving, her husband pointed to the petition and she signed it without giving it further thought.



Dr. MJ Bienvenu started it all and she has to atone for the misdeed that followed her poor judgment.

Added McCaskill, “MJ, Dr. Bienvenu and her partner, Kendra Smith, wrote a letter to the president of the university asking that I be reprimanded.”

This is an urgent message to all who owns dogs be they service dogs or just plainly pet dogs. There's a growing movement that's making themselves very visible online that hates dogs. Specifically they're asking people to kill dogs on this coming Halloween, October 31. They have a specific dog breed targeted but people could mistake other breeds as the specifically targeted breed. They're even telling people what tools to use to kill the dogs. Best thing to do is to keep your dogs locked in at home on that day, make sure they don't eat anything from the floors outside. Make sure the dogs are "parked" (meaning have gone to the bathroom) before sunset so you don't have to take them outside again during the rage period. Please share this message far and wide. You can save a dog's life.
