September  11th, 2011 Newsletter Orange County Deaf Advocacy Center Health, Safety, and Productivity On this day of service and remembrance, we would like to take a moment to express our appreciation to all of those who serve, together we are making a difference even if we can't see it at times. Thank You! Our TTY-a-thon last weekend was a great success, we raised $640 for a fundraiser that was put together so quickly. Thank you to everyone who supported it! Due to popular request we will be having a Videophone-a-thon on Valentines day weekend in February 2012. Please let us know what you think, we really like feedback. Our Oral Deaf Orange County Meetup is on Friday, October 7th, 2011 at 6:00 PM Carnitas Sahuayo Restaurant - 402 West 17th Street, Santa Ana We still have real live Mexican Jumping Beans left so if you would like some Jumping Beans please contact us by email or phone. We plan to put more videos on our new channel and have them captioned, so if you like to transcribe stuff or always wanted to caption stuff this is a great time to volunteer!
