Other good notes is that Marc Velásquez, known as the Deaf Pirate, finally plead
guilty to fraud of the CC's VRS system and that AB 2072 is making a resurrection
in the California's legislature after being vetoed last year by then Governor
Schwarzenegger.

With the departure of the fabled deaf pirate, our fragile community in Orange
County can begin the healing from the embarrassment and anguish casted upon us.
Bon voyage!

Let's check out Alyssa Kieth's birthday wish

make her birthday wish come true.

SURGERY RESTORES EYES OF DEAF MAN

CAN you imagine a world without sight and sound, a world of darkness and
silence, a world where smells and feelings are all that guide you?

That was the situation faced by deaf dad Bruce Eggleton this winter, when
glaucoma robbed him of his eyesight.

The 35-year-old feared he would never see his daughter again, but
ophthalmologist Petros Andreou at Broomfield Hospital acted quickly and saved
him from permanent blindness.

new company called Paybox is rising up using the same babysteps as paypal. They
need at least 3 million members before they can open up to the public and your
help is needed. We will get $10.00 for each new paybox signup. New signups
will be given $25.00 in startup funds. Now isn't that a win win situation for
you and our organization?

COCHLEAR IMPLANTS HELP DEAF TODDLERS HEAR AND SPEAK, BUT THEY COME WITH
CONTROVERSY

All the evidence suggests that Averi Halbert is a typical terrible 2-year-old.
She adores baby dolls, stuffed animals and things that light up. If matters were
left to her, vegetables would be outlawed, as would being told no and going to
bed. Right now, she's on the verge of throwing a tantrum. Her striking hazel
eyes have narrowed to an angry squint – she's run out of grapes to eat. She
pouts until her mom concedes and hands her more.
